How to Make Your Own Spells
A Simple Candle Spell
The easiest ritual to perform is to use a light a candle that coordinates with your need/want/purpose and concentrate on that while the candle is burning. Visualize yourself with that need/want.
When you are done, concentrating (when you don't think you can do it any longer), let the candle burn itself out.
That's it. Really easy.
My Personal Formula
For those of you who want a little more ceremony, you can try my way.
All that one must do in order to make their own spell is to know what they want to do and how they are willing to do it.
Decide what you want accomplished
Simplify your task into one of the major subjects (i.e. love, money, protection, etc.)
Find the correspondences of that subject (i.e. stones, herbs, amulets, candle, etc)
Write out an incantation and a step-by-step process to do the actions in (i.e. light the candles, say a part of the chant, etc.).
Most of all you must incorporate your feelings/emotions, your will, and your concentration into the actual steps of the spell. Do whatever feels good and correct. With spells it is important to know and be aware of your intuitive powers. One must utilize these a good deal of the time.
You have just gone through the steps of creating your own spell, but don't forget to write the finished product in your Book of Shadows (a.k.a. Girmoire), you may want to perform that spell again.
