One can use stones,metals, and crystals as foci for spells, meaning that certain minerals have diferent energies that can be used best for different purposes.
When choosing your stones, etc. make sure that they feel right. Do you like the shape of it? Do you like its texture? Are you comfortable with its size? Always be certain that you ahve an affinity for you stones.
