Kessie's Opinions on Music

In general, I like just about any music/band/artist, but I do have some top favorites. I shall list them here. Nifty, huh? Anyway, these are just artists/bands I like, and comments on them...why? I don't know. It just seemed like a good idea. I have a weirdly diverse taste in music. It's somewhat selective, but actually very leniant in a way, and oh gosh I don't know what I'm talking about so I'll start the list.

~
Sugar Ray~ I adore Sugar Ray, but I mainly like the music on their "14:59" album. I like most of the stuff  on "Floored", but I have to be in the mood for that kind of music to listen to it. I'm not sure about "Lemonade and Brownies"--I haven't listened to it, and the cover is...well...enough said. If you know what I'm taking about, great. If not, don't ask...
*My top favorite Sugar Ray songs:
"Ode to the Lonely Hearted" (14:59)
          "Fly" (Floored)
          "Abracadabra" (14:59)
          "Falls Apart" (14:59)
          "Someday" (14:59)

~
Ace of Base~ I like the way each album has a different style. My favorite albums are "The Sign" and "The Bridge". Don't get me wrong, "Cruel Summer" is good, too. I never get sick of their songs, and they're great to sing along to.
*My top favorite Ace of Base songs:
          "Deja Vu" (The Bridge)
"All That She Wants" (The Sign)
          "The Sign" (The Sign)
          "Don't Turn Around" (The Sign)
          "Ravine" (The Bridge)
          "Cruel Summer" (Cruel Summer)

~
Shania Twain~ I have her "The Woman in Me" album and "Come on Over". I love her songs on both albums! She is an excellent singer, and puts a lot of emotion into her songs. Plus, I get the feeling she likes horses ("The Woman in Me" has a picture of her and a horse in the CD jacket)! :-D
*My top favorite Shania Twain songs:
"Any Man of Mine" (The Woman in Me)
"The Woman in Me" (The Woman in Me)
"Don't Be Stupid" (Come on Over)
"Rock This Country!" (Come on Over)

~
Third Eye Blind~ I like a lot of their songs, and have their "Third Eye Blind" and "Blue" albums. I'm not positive, but I think those are their only two. Anyway, I really like most of their songs.
*My top favorite Third Eye Blind songs:
          "Semi-charmed Life" (Third Eye Blind)
          "Jumper" (Third Eye Blind)
"How's It Going to Be" (Third Eye Blind)
          "Never Let You Go" (Blue)
          "1000 Julys" (Blue)

~
Alanis Morisette~ I recently bought her "Jagged Little Pill" CD, and hadn't thought myself of an Alanis fan, but I found that many of the songs I saw written on the back of the CD were ones that I really like and didn't know they were Alanis Morisette's! Anyway, I really like her style.
*My top favorite Alanis Morisette songs:
          "Ironic" (Jagged Little Pill)
"Head Over Feet" (Jagged Little Pill)
"Not the Doctor" (Jagged Little Pill)
"Thank U" (That other CD that I don't own and don't know the name of)

~
Creed~ My liking for Creed was introduced by the radio, and fueled by Ken (thank you!). I like them a lot, and listen to their stuff over and over again! I have their "Human Clay" CD, and have found that guinea pigs don't much care for Creed (the little weirdos...well, Jeremy the guinea pig likes Britney Spears, enough weirdness to prove that they're all insane).
     *My top favorite Creed songs:
          "Arms Wide Open" (Human Clay)
          "Higher" (Human Clay)

~
The Goo Goo Dolls~ I have their "Dizzy Up the Girl" album, and I really like it. I strangely can't get sick of their songs! I can listen to them over and over again (I actually did that on a car trip once), and I don't get tired of their songs!
*My top favorite Goo Goo Dolls songs:
          "Slide" (Dizzy Up the Girl)
          "Broadway" (Dizzy Up the Girl)
          "Iris" (Dizzy Up the Girl)
"Black Balloon" (Dizzy Up the Girl)

That's all on my list of stuff I aboslutely adore. Now, for some Honorable Mentions (artists/bands I like a lot but not enough to write a review for at this point in time):

~~R.E.M.~~The Beach Boys~~Collin Raye~~The Monkees~~Phil Collins~~The Dixie Chicks~~"Weird Al" Yankovic~~Smash Mouth~~Nine Days~~The Bangles~~

By the way, all the artists' names, titles, the bands' names, the song names, everything belongs to their respective owners. I don't profit from this, and I don't intend any infrigement. Don't get mad at me!!!
