Powers: Havok absorbs ambient cosmic and solar energy and releases it as powerful plasma bursts.
My brother Scott and I were both orphaned as children, but unlike Scott, I was adopted rather quickly. I grew up a normal life in a happy family. As I got older I studied geology and never even knew I was a mutant until the Living Pharoah captured me to use my powers. Well, the X-Men came to the rescue and I met Lorna Dane, aka Polaris. We soon fell in love and I joined the X-Men adopting the name Havok. Polaris and I soon left and ducked out of the superhero biz for a normal life. But during the Mutant Massacre, Polaris became possessed by Malice and I rejoined the X-Men. Needless to say, things with Lorna and I soon fell apart. During Inferno, I gad a little thing with Scott's then wife, Madelyne Pryor, who turned out to be a clone of Jean Grey. I lost my sences and became Maddie's Goblin King, but that ended shortly. I stayed with the X-Men for a while until we traveled through the Seige Perilous. After that happened, I became amnesiac and joined the Genoshan Magistrates. X-Tiction Agenda came around and I regained my memory and took over as leader of X-Factor with a whole new team, while Scott took the original X-Factor back to the X-Men. I was happy with X-Factor. I was finally living out of my brother's shadow. Sadness hit me again wityhthe death of my best friend and teammate, Jamie Madrox. Well, Lorna tracked me down and I was then possessed by Malice. I was finally freed by Malice's leader, Mr. Sinister. Mr. Sinister has some sort of facination with my family, I haven't quite figured it out yet. I soon started having problems controlling my powers and then I was captured by the mercenary Random. He took my to McCoy and they brainwashed me and boosted my powers. I confronted my former teammates of X-Factor, finally realizeing that what they stand for can never be acheived using their methods. I hurt them pretty badly. I recently confronted my brother, almost killing him. I told him that I had reformed the Brotherood. The members were myself, McCoy, and Fatale and Ever was a partial member. I recently reveald to the world that I was just working with McCoy to uncover his malevolent plans. It turns out that McCoy was keeping test subjects with the Legacy Virus locked in stasis. Just as I was taking care of McCoy, Shard returned with Mystique and three other mysterious people. THose three were members of the same group as Shard belonged to in the future. They have joined me to form a new generation of X-Factor.
