Long ago, Gotham City gave birth to a dark hero, a man that fought evil with his own shadow. The World's Greatest Detective, the Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight. He kept his city safe... Until one day he just... disappeared. Whether he died, retired, or just stopped caring, no one could say. All they knew was that the city suffered for the loss, and the night had never seemed so terrible.
Now, years later, the mantle of the Bat has been forced upon another, who has taken up the crusade with a gusto that would do his predecessor proud, and a wit that would make his predecessor groan.
Once again criminals are discovering just how superstitious and cowardly a lot they are...
