Angel was born in Port Charlotte, FL. When her parents separated, she stayed with her mother who married an Air Force officer. She went to England when her step-father was transferred. She maintains a close relationship with her father and his family. After graduating from Choctawhatchee High School (1989-1993), Angel joined the Navy Reserves and went on active duty. She served as a petty officer (PO2) in the TAR (teaching and administration of reserves) Program. They trained reserve sailors on their drill weekends.
Angel married a former sailor, Chris White. Chris and Angel lived in Toms River, NJ, where their daughter Marena Lynne Withheld (12-Jun-1996)
Angel is currently living the Florida panhandle area with her daugher.
