Little is known of Gladys. She lived in Fairmont, NC, with
her husband and son. Gladys' younger sister, Linda Leigh,
stayed with her during the final stages of her
fight with leukemia which took her life at age 16.
Gladys died from breast cancer.
Little is known about Pittman. It is believed that
he served several terms as mayor of Fairmont, NC. He died in
Lexington, Fayette County, KY.
Pittman and Gladys' only child was Pitmann Jr.
whose birth date is unknown. Pittman Jr. married
Charlene and they have at least one child, "Bud".
