He is Guru Clef seen on the left, and he is the one who gives them their first armors and magics. With his help they will grow and mature so as to give Princess Esmeraude her one true wish. |

| In the Forests of Cephiro the Magic Knights meet a man named Ferio, pictured on the right. He becomes their second ally. Fuu becomes romantically involved with him and as a token for their friendship Ferio gives Fuu an earring. He is a skilled fighter and is instrumental at showing them the current dangers in Cephiro so that they don't go into areas without looking to be sure it's safe. He also has a interesting backstory which you find out about in season two...I'm not telling ^.^ |

| The third ally they meet in Cephiro is Master Mage Smith Presea, pictured on the left. She alone has the ability to turn the magical material Escundo into weapons for the Magic Knights. Just after finishing the weapons she is killed in a fight with Ascot during the first season. |

| To the right is Princess Esmeraude, the Pillar of Cephiro. Her will determines the stability of Cephiro. Hers alone is the power to Summon. Her wish brings the Magic Knights to her world and in the end they are heartbroken when they learn what her TRUE WISH really is... |
