Basics covered. So about me... I am a laid back but not lazy kind of guy. I have had an, shall we say, "interesting" life. Situations have allowed me to embrace my individuality despite the constant pressures to walk with the herd and conform.
I love life and find happiness in overlooked everyday things. I believe that stems from the fact I am an artist. I have always looked at things differently than those around me. Though some have described me as odd, I have never had a problem making friends. But I have found there are two things that I simply will not permit in my life. Superficiality, and the drama that follows. I haven't the time nor the patience for those whom haven't the depth to think past their own needs. I am not saying persons should not consider themselves and personal needs in their everyday life. I am saying that if you lack the compassion or caring to consider someone else once in awhile, I am not interested in knowing you. I apologize that I am being so blunt, however, ... No actually I don't apologize.
Now, about my interests. I would consider myself pretty open to new things, new foods, different cultures, etc. etc. I am however not open to drugs, I had that life once and it is not worth the spit in the pipe. To each their own, leave me out of it. Otherwise, I am a nature fanatic, I love hikes, river-walks, picnics, camping and most things outdoorsy. I am not a big hunter, but fishing is fun. I like PC games and my Playstation 2, but I can't say that I am a gamer. I need other things to balance myself out, living my life electronically eventually starts to bore me. I like to change things up be it, painting, taking a bath listening to some smooth Jazz, whatever strikes me as something fun and/or relaxing to occupy my time.I know that it is hard to get to know someone just by reading something they have typed, but I hope I have given you enough to get an idea. I am a little bit traditionalist in feeling that an in-person meeting allows you to actually get to know a person. If in person is not available at least on the phone one is able to hear the person to whom they are talking .
