Description:
An Archer is a character trained to defend castles and such buildings,
using bows and crossbows of all kinds. They concentrate on taking
out commanders and other important members of an attacking force.
They are also, in more peaceful times, hired as body- or caravan
guards. An Archer forsakes most other weapons in favor of bow
and crossbow. They pratice daily, with ever smaller and more distant
targets, honing their skills into perfection. A sure place to
locate a trained Archer is at Shooting competitions everywhere,
as Archers often are very competitive. Many Archers are skilled
at ( and carry ) both bow and crossbow, since they have their
advantages and disadvantages in different situations. As for melee
weapons, they prefer short, quick weapons that doesn't tangle
with their various bows and arrows. In close-combat, they tend
to rely primarily on quick feet and climbing.
Weapons Allowed:
Crossbow (all), Bows (all), and all weapons shorter than 2 feet.

They raise in level as a Fighter. * 10% xp is added if Dex is
above 12. * They get 4 weapon "slots", just as Fighters.
Benefits:
* If specialized with bow and/or crossbow, their "point-blank"-range
is 150% the normal. * They also get to fire one extra arrow/bolt
per round with the weapon(s) they are specialized in.
Restrictions:
* They cannot use weapons longer than 2 feet. * They cannot use
heavier armor than leather. * They do not use shields. * They
may only specialize in bows and crossbows.
