Interests = I've been an avid reader for as long as I can remember and I love fantasy and scifi, especially feminist fantasy and newer sword and sorcery. My favorite authors are Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCaffrey, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Robert Heinlein. I also write fantasy and poetry and have done so on and off for as long as I can remember(at least ten years).

I draw some(I'm not real good but I am fairly knowledgeable about different media and little about technique and technical terms). I also make and design jewelry and costumes. My jewelry is mostly beaded with some wire stuff thrown in there and I've been doing it for about four years. My costumes are generally historically-based but I tend to take a lot of license with them... I also do some work based on books I've read, particularly Mercedes Lackey's work. I've been sewing for about five years.

Concerning music, I've played the flute for five years and the recorder on and off for about that long. I'm also intensely interested in folk music of all descriptions and Irish folk music in particular.

I've also got a lot of random knowledge about things like the middle ages and renaissance, how to find basically anything in a library or online, herbs and herbal remedies, and how to deal with difficult people.....

Interests=Interests, eh? Hmmm, lessee... I like books, reading. Mostly a fantasy fan, but I like classics too, and British Literature of most any stripe. Good authors: Terry Pratchett, Kipling, Mercedes Lacky, Robin McKinley, Patricia Wrede, Jane Yolen, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo... oh, dear, I think I'll stop. I also like all the 'Englishy-Classy' stuff that goes along with 'em, so if'n ye be a'looking for somebody to discuss symbolism an' the like wi', well now, I be 'ere. Poetry is good too. Some of my favorite poets are Byron, Donne, and Henry Vaughn. And the Master, Kipling. :) I write some stories, and some poetry. Then there's music... I've played the piano for 10 years, the clarinet for seven, and the guitar for four months *grin* I know quite a bit about theory, so if'n ye're wondering about something along those lines, Ah kin prolly 'elp ye. I like most any genre of music, from J-pop to filk to wind literature. What else? ... I knit. I can program in C++. I know MLA. I like physics and astronomy, but I'm not too terribly knowledgeable in either. I attempt to draw. Btw, if anyone knows of a good 'How to draw Anime' course on the web, I'd be eternally greatful. I speak Spanish. I want to learn French and Japanese.
