As the titile line says, this song was not inspired so much by the original, as by Weird Al's twist "Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch". I wrote this one in just a few hours. My wife and some of the other women in our Star Trek club were going to perform this at a convention using a carboard cut-out of Kirk. It's a good thing we never got around to buying the cutout because the talent show was cancelled.
