Rules supplement to:
Lord of the Rings
General Rules

Take happening cards

In spite of the given rules a player just takes one happening card each round.

Trading cards

It is allowed for player to swap 1 playing card (item, person or hobbit) at the cost of one shield for both of the players.

Events

When a happening card is becoming an event it will not happen directly but the player that draws it holds the card. The next round in the game before the player takes the next happening card the event will take place. This gives the player the opportunity to react to the upcoming event but only for one round. They see it coming and should brace themselves for it.

Scenario Finish

If a player has collected the three different live force token in a scenario the player can step back one step on the corruption ladder.
When a player collected the same token twice, other players can buy it but must pay with 2 shields for it. But it can help to survive the corruption.

Special cards

A lot of special card gain extra meaning. This is to encourage the players to follow the story line more closely.
