Hello. Thanks for visiting the "Comet". (Comets are usually celebrated for visiting "Us" , so this time YOU get to visit a "Comet")In these times of living through the fractured self image of our American Identity, I want to try and say Good things about the Stuff that still makes me Happy to be American. And those who might devine from this that there are some "things" which make me unhappy to be American, well- congratulations on your psychic powers. So for now, just take some pleasure in those things which can still give a little thrill of pride in the hearts of those who REALLY do give a hoot about this unique culture and its many facets.
