Books Written Under the Pseudonym of Richard Bachman : During the 'eighties, Stephen King wrote several books under the pseudonym of Richard Bachman, just to see if lightning would strike twice and he could make money off another name as well as his own. But he didn't count on longtime fans recognizing his writing style, and so he was discovered. Since then, he has written one other "Bachman book": The Regulators, a companion piece to Desperation.
The Bachman Books : Four Early Novels: Rage, the Long Walk, Roadwork, the Running Man
The Regulators: Killer ghosts driving vans straight out of a child's cartoon terrorize an Ohio neighborhood. Utilizes many of the same characters and situations as the King title Desperation.
The Running Man: one of the Bachman books, sold separately under this title
Thinner: Cursed by a leprous old gypsy, an obese man begins to lose weight--and keeps losing....
