Giving HTML Frames a Second Chance

We all know about the dozens of anti-frames clubs out there.

The members complain that frames crash browsers, look ugly, trap people, etc...

However, members of the I Love Frames Club realize that those problems are browser problems and programming problems--normal frames don't usually crash Netscape Communicator, do they? We believe that frames do not deserve to be blamed for the bad programming of webmasters and problems with out-of-date browsers. Although some people have no choice but use a bad browser because of their ISPs or operating systems, most people can upgrade--for free! Therefore, it is not neccesary to recognize frames "for the silly things they are," because frames are not silly.

Members of this club do acknowledge the fact that bad programming can cause frames to look ugly (if people plan to use frames, we believe that they should limit themselves to two or three, and two is preferrable), trap visitors, or cause other problems, but we also acknowledge the fact that the programmers are to blame--not frames themselves, despite what all the frame-haters think.

That's what this club is all about--giving frames a second chance at life.If you share our ideas, join us!
