Unfortunatly, some of us cannot afford the bike of our dreams. We ride what Harley riders refer to as "rice burners". My current bike is a 1977 Honda Goldwing 1000. It is a touring bike--big, comfortable, with all the bells and whistles I can afford. When the weather is decent (anytime it is over 50 degrees and not raining) you will find me near my bike. I would like to say "ON my bike", but maintainance is a major fact of life for any motorcycle rider. |
When I can't ride, I attend swap meets and bike shows, and surf the internet looking for anything related to motorcycles. Some of the links I have found are: |
Motorcycles only need their fluids changed every 2,000 miles. Motorcycles' curves never sag. Motorcycles last longer. Motorcycles don't get pregnant. You can ride a motorcycle any time of the month. Motorcycles don't have parents. Motorcycles don't whine unless something is really wrong. You can kick your motorcycle to wake it up.
