The Hunt of the Unicorn
These pictures are pieces of the famed Unicorn Tapestries
(circa 1495-1500), of which there are seven. Each of the
tapestries were originally about fourteen feet high and twelve
feet wide. They have to be my favorite collection of art
containing unicorns. Currently, the tapestries are in the
Cloisters Collection at the Metropolatin Museum of Art in
Manhattan, New York.

This site: The Unicorn Tapestries
has images of the tapestries, but they are in
black & white. This site also explores some of the puzzles about
the tapestries including the origins and weavers.
