X-Men Rumors

One last thing, I hear of these rumors, it not necessarily true that I believe them.
-The script is being worked out and fine tuned. For now, filming will begin late this spring/early summer (due to previous actors' conflicts, such as Patrick Stuart filming Star Trek X). And temporarily, the release has been pushed to May 2003. As well, it appears that there will be possibly 2 new characters introduced in the sequel. A lot of people believe that one of the two new characters is Nightcrawler.December 23rd
-Countingdown.com has the opening date to be around November of 2002 as the temporary date. Due to SAG strike possibilities and such it is undetermined as to when shooting will start. Fear not, a script is in the works, but it has not been revealed what new characters will be in the sequel. May 26th
-Writing is in the beginning stages. New characters should be announced within a few weeks.Feb. 13th
-Shooting will most likely occur near the end of this year or the begining of next year.Feb. 13th
-Bryan Singer wants to do another "collector's edition" dvd of X-men that will have much more stuff on it than the one coming out Nov. 21st. Although, it is still up in the air on whether he will be able to do it or not.
- The X-Men dvd and vhs has been released on November 21st, 2000.
- All actors from the first movie have signed on to do a sequel.(minus Bruce Davidson (Senator Kelly))
- Writing has already started. There is a fanfic scene out on the internet involving Magneto and Professor.
- Shooting for X-Men 2 will hopefully begin in the late 2001.
