What the hell is the RIAA's problem? They've been ripping us off at prices for years, this is a taste of their own medicine. All they sell is a depreciating merchandise. Remember cassettes, $12-$15 bucks a pop. Now used places cant sell them for 99 cents. Imagine whatll happen to CD's when the next music mode come out. And they can sue for $750 to $1500 bucks a song, screw them. Most of the users they target are kids. Who have nothing, what do they hope to get, lunch money. I will admit, I download songs. I burn them to discs and listen to compilations in my car I could never buy. I dont burn and sell, i dont mass produce. What percentage of people do, probably less than one? Why nto go after the ones who put the songs there, if anybody. The RIAA is just insanely jealous that it no longer has a vicelike stranglehold over american music buyers. And Ill tell you something else, i burned a full regular album, the new 311 album. And i loved it, i listened to it for a while, then i went out and bought the real one. It had slightly better quality and no glitches that can occur from burning to disc. Not losing any money here, i rarely bought CD's before, preferred radios variety, now i can burn compilations without the songs i hate. Lets eveyone download more songs, they cant go after all of us.

Some more Americans have died in the Middle East. How could this not be expected when we went over there with force. This region is, because of western cultures, one of the richest in the world and they will be able to afford alot of munitions. Im not saying the war is a bad idea, im not saying Bush was wrong. Im just saying if this effort was on a hunch that Saddam "may" have weapons of mass destruction, then was it worth all this life. Of course not! But you know our governments history, if thay cant find the weapons they might put them there, then find them.

Ooooh, American Idol scandal. So that dude, Ruben, who won the second season of this crappy show was a lawbreaker. According to lawsuits recently filed, Willie and Frederick Jenkins, owners of 205 Flava Inc., paid Ruben from $1,000 to $1,500 a week to wear his clothes. This is prohibited because the show already has sponsors. What an idiot! Jesus, i make $1,000 a month in a deli. Hes making craploads of money now and he was scamming for $1k a week, sheesh. His defense is that "205" (which was emblazoned on all the clothing) is the area code of his hometown of Birmingham and thats why he wore it. Sure pal! So now hes suing these guys, why cuz they got you in trouble for breaking the rules. Be a man and take your punishment. You got enough money now to buy your way out of it.

I read today that the owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, expressed his opinions on the Kobe Bryant case. He said "From a business perspective, it's great for the NBA." Is he right, of course! But you dont wanna say that to an interviewer if you want to make fans. YOu know there will be a bunch of feminists who are gonna say that he is advocating rape as a moneymaking tool. Or he's using his marketing savvy to build-up the Mavs-Lakers opening day game on Oct. 28. Either way, it worked.

It was announced today that Britney Spears will be appearing topless in the September issue of the British edition of Elle magazine. I think there also may be an article or something also(???). According to Access Hollywood, she will bare her ass, and in other shots wear only short shorts. Even more amazing is that Elle admits to touching up the photographs. Other than musical talent, what about Britney needs refining!!
