Santee
That's right! Believe it or not, Santee, CA is strong
in the Force, and has many aspiring young Jedi students. Most of them are
located at Santana High
School during the better part of the week
as they train themselves to become Jedi Knights. Most
of the apprentices are members of the flight group known as Rogue Squadron. 
Most prominent among these students of the Force is Commander Mike Ellis,
aka Rogue 1.
The founder of Rogue Squadron, Cmdr. Ellis formally graduated from Santana
HS in 1996. He returns periodically to Santana to ensure the ways of the
Force are followed by all members of Rogue Squadron. A complete list of Rogues

There are close to 30 Rogues in all. If you are interested in joining the
Rogue Squadron, you must meet the following requirements, straight from Cmdr.
Ellis himself:
1) If [Cmdr. Ellis] knows the person and [Cmdr. Ellis]
feels that he/she is R.S. quality, they're in. Simple as that.
2) If another Rogue feels a prospect is R.S. quality,
that Rogue must propose it to [Cmdr. Ellis], and [Cmdr. Ellis] will put it
to a vote open to the whole squadron. A majority vote is needed for entrance
to R.S. In case of tie, the Rogue who introduced the prospect to R.S. breaks
that tie. [Cmdr. Ellis] does not vote in such activities. Voting period is
AT MOST 2 weeks. [Cmdr. Ellis] reserves the right to make the deadline shorter
with reasonable prior notice.

that you would make it into Rogue Squadron, I'll propose your name to Cmdr.
Ellis myself.
Prospective Rogues should show some interest in Star Wars.
E-mail account is a plus, but not required. The only prerequisite is some interest in the Star Wars
universe.
For those of you who don't know, I am Rogue 7, Captain Matt Kirk,
second-in-command of Rogue Squadron. I have known Cmdr. Ellis for 13 years,
and have faithfully served at his side, benefitting from his knowledge and
experience. I now serve as instructor at Santana High School, and am helping
out with the instumental music program that I helped to build.
