Episode One and Two

The newly reconstituted Wrecking Crew heads out to finish the exploration of a pre-rifts missile silo. During this search the Wrecking Crew encounters several "acid spitting bitch plants", several active undead skeletons, and signs of a really big fire fight that happened before the Rifts.

After getting past many pre-rifts internal defenses (which almost killed Hunter...claymores that are buried in the wall will do that...there is now a nice clear image of Hunter running down a set of stairs - out-lined in nails), a lot of water wading, and silo door opening or two later. They finally discovered the still operational nuclear power plants, and, somehow, managed to not destroy them (... surprise.... surprise). They came to the launch room of the silo complex. After opening the door, a rather large one that resisted all attempts to hack through it, they found the launch computer intact and with some very interesting footage.

The post-rifts security camera footage showed a C.S. penetration of the base, the death of the C.S. grunts at the hands of Special Forces Cyborgs under orders to keep the secret.

The secret being that the C.S. removed an I.C.B.M. that had a launch abort, and survived the rifts. The Wrecking Crew is looking forward to the pay bonus this little tid-bit will bring from Larson.

The Wrecking Crew also discovered the cause of the undead activity. The base commander became a protector ghost upon his death during the assault on the base by "demons" during the rifts. After escorting the Ghost to a meeting with Larson the base was declared cleared and ready for inhabitation, under the watchful eye of the former commander.

The Wrecking Crew was then debriefed not by Larson as per normal but by Internal Security, or rather Larson mutineers disguised as Internal Security personnel. The natural paranoia of the Wrecking Crew meant they didn't disclose a great deal of information and kept the base camera footage a secret.

Then ordered to clear a section of the perimeter by Antonio the natural tendency of the Wrecking Crew towards killing each other came into play again.

During said area clearing they came across a old hunter with a even older rifle examining the tracks left by an A.P.C.. The C.O.'s orders were to take the old man out (as in dead). Charlie nailed him with a stun round due to a rail gun being pointed at him by a enlisted man. It seems the E.I.C. cyborg and anti-monster thought that the C.O., a dragon juicer, meant for Charlie to kill the man .... which he did. Under the eyes of the anti-monster and the E.I.C. borg, however Charlie choose to simply stun the man and truss him up.

This misunderstanding led to the Infiltrator borg transferring, and the Anti-Monster quitting the brigade. A first, normally member in the Wrecking Crew leave the crew in a body bag at the hands of the enemy or at each other's hands (pincers, ectoplasmic arms, you get the idea.)
