• He was teamed with Mulder shortly after the X-Files were closed down. Although he posed as a friend and admirer, he proved to really be a double-agent who was assigned to spy on Mulder's activities by Cancer-Man.
• When the X-Files were reopened, Scully became Mulder's partner again and Krycek disappeared. He would later return as the assassin of Mulder's father.
