The fairytale wedding (attended by a few actual faeries) at the Sunnydale Gingerbread Chapel was performed just after sunset by one of the town's usually invisible clergymen.
The wedding party, still in formal attire, climbed into a fleet of limos. (The cars were rented by the groom even though he has no visible means of support.) They drove to the airport and flew to Hawaii for the honeymoon/celebration/hootenany.
The flight was a long one. By the time they arrived at their hotel, the revelers were horny. Hotel. Hawaii. Honeymoon. Hot times!
Check-in took a while, however, as the hotel's computer kept crashing. Finally all was sorted out and they retired to the floor reserved especially for them, also paid for by the groom who still had no visible means of financial support.
Stopping outside the door of the honeymoon suite, Giles turned to the others and asked, "Who's first?"
"Me!" Xander cried and leapt into his love's arms. "Carry me over the threshold first!"
"Back off, ex-boyfriend!" Cordy tugged until Xander tumbled to the hallway floor. "I'm first!"
Cordelia smiled a staggeringly brilliant smile at her groom who returned it complete with a passionate kiss that left her with wobbly knees and damp panties. Everyone else sighed and cuddled in pairs and groups as they watched.
When the couple parted, Giles looked at the card in his wife's hand. "Cordelia has no. 1. Who's up after her?"
Snickering at the unintentional double entendre, Angel stepped forward. "I'm next." He leaned past Cordy to give his husband a lingering kiss that left Giles flushed and Cordy wobbly just watching it at close range.
Standing at Angel's elbow, Buffy pouted. "I'm not only his wife, I'm his Slayer. I should be first."
Willow stole a peek at Buffy's card. "You're fifth and I'm fourth."
"This is going to take forever. Some of us are nearly into double digits here," Oz complained.
"I should say so," Wesley grumbled. "I'm seventh."
"Seven has always been a lucky number for me," Giles told him as he pulled him into his embrace. Wesley happily snuggled up against his side.
"I'm third!" Spike crowed. "I think I'm going to like being married. Better than being roomies."
"Maybe we'll get our turns quicker if you do two at a time, Babe," Faith rubbed herself against Giles' leg and side.
"Listen to the girl, Ripper."
"Excellent idea, Ripper."
Ethan and Olivia glared at one another but the looks softened as they remembered who they had just married. Ethan slid an arm around Olivia's shoulders. She leaned against him.
Hugging as many of his wives and husbands to him as he could manage, Giles said, "I can't make you take turns. Why don't you all come inside? We are a real family now, after all."
He opened the door and swept Cordy into his arms, carrying her over the threshold. Wesley grabbed Buffy and did the same while Spike swooped down on Willow and carted the giggling girl inside the room. Ethan and Olivia followed right behind in the same manner. That left Angel, Xander and Oz staring at one another. Smiling. Xander and Oz linked hands and hoisted Angel off his feet. After they crossed the threshold of their new lives together, Oz kicked the door closed behind them.
