The newest actor to take the mantle of Doctor Who was Colin Baker. He played the Doctor from 1984-1986. The Doctor lasted in this regeneration about 30 years before regenerating. He was about 936 in before he had to regenerate. In this body his eccentric, and egocentric qualities were in full bloom. No one admires him more than he admires himself. His personality is outlandish. He keeps enemies as well as friends off balance with a constant barrage of bad puns, witty remarks and bad jokes. He know wears a red plaid coat with yellow cuffs, yellow-and-black striped pants, green shoes with orange spats, and a blue and white polka-dot neckcloth. Tall and heavy set, he has curly blonde hair that is constantly a tangled mess. In this regeneration he also met with a number of old enemies as well as new enemies. He faces the Sontarans again as well as the Cybermen and the dreaded Daleks. Once again at the end of his life he was forced to Gallifrey again to stand trial for breaking the laws of time. He proves the trial is actually a trap set by himself! A being calling itself The Valyard claims to be the amalgamation of the Doctor's evil side and that it requires his remaining regenerations. But the Doctor defeats his evil self and is pardoned for saving the High Council once again. After leaving Gallifrey the Doctor has yet more adventures until he is thrown off course by another renegade Time Lady known as the Rani. The TARDIS crashes and the Doctor regenerates.
