Jellied Brain Slug

SFC 2005 volume

Ingredients :
  • 4 average brain slugs
  • 5 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 package pectin
  • iridescent food coloring

Warning: Be sure to wear your appropriate helmet or use garlic shampoo the day of preparation.

Preparation :

Slowly combine brain slugs and vinegar in blender until slugs are liquified. If you wish, add some garlic. If liquid squirms violently upon addition of garlic, blend some more. Add sugar and boil in large pot for at least 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add liquid pectin. Check for pieces of eye remaining in mixture. Skim off with strainer as needed.

Sprinkle drops of iridescent food coloring into liquid and stir rapidly. Pull spoon out and hold vertical for thirty seconds. If any amount of the liquid begins to advance up your spoon slowly, return mixture to boiling. Pour into hot jelly jars filling halfway. Adjust lids onto jars. Process jars in boiling water for 5 minutes. Place jars in stasis chamber to avoid evolution and mutation during storage.

Disclaimer : We reccommend extensive testing in the laboratory to avoid cognitive side effects.
