First we shall start off with an analysis of my favorite dancers...I love 'em all and they always bring a smile to my face when I see them dance. Truly masters of the form!!
SHAWN!!!!- Amazing, phenomonal, howthefuckdidhedothat!? are usually the words that come out of peoples mouths when they see this guy dance for the first time. His friends apparently call him Angel (I say apparently 'cause I don't know the guy that well). For all I know he could be supernatural 'cause some of the moves he pulls off take way too much grace and rythm for normal humans to do. He seamlessly mixes the step, upper body movement, creativity, natural grace and especially the spins. Shawn's spins are so dope, my jaw almost hits the ground every time I see him dance the night away =).
Kim(Lil Shep)- DaaaaaaAAAAAmn! No one I know can dance to trance like she does. Her natural co-ordination and rythm blow my mind every time I see her dance! My favorite girl dancer without a doubt.(bonus points for being the coolest person I have ever met)
Girl at WEMF- One of the best memories of WEMF 2000 was this chick I saw dance at the House/Breaks tent. She had dyed blonde hair, very tiny body frame, with a baby blue baseball cap and navy blue ecko sweater. The way she could dance to breaks was...was...heart warming. I could've stood and watched her dance forever (too bad Growling Mad Scientists were playing in the goa tent after 1/2 an hour or so of watching her dance....ah well). I saw so many incredible dancers that weekend....but thats the one that stood out.
Dave- Not 100% on the guys name but when I saw this guy at WWI my jaw literally dropped. He was pulling these amazing likwit/break moves that were insane! I wanna dance like that!
Lil Jen- Maybe I shouldn't include her here because I've never seen her dance before. But everyone who has, tells me the same thing. "She is so amazing.....you HAVE to see her dance!". So maybe she's just hype (something I highly doubt-my info came from good sources =). Her likwit styles are supposed to be unheard of-she can tell stories and shit. That'd be sooo wikkid to see. One day...one day...
Josh(K is for Kids)- This guy has some pretty wikkid moves but the best part of his arsenal is the look on his face when he dances. It's this look of total self-confidenc, like he owns the dance floor! Makes me smile all the time...
Mandy(tha Sp|n|n' one)- She has some ver' nice moves with dope b-girl stylez! She does this little shake 'dem hips thing-its so cool to see. I think shes the only one besides from me who loves to dance as much as I do....or at least loves to talk about it as much as I do =).
Mike-I don't know the guy....but damn is he the shiznit on the dancefloor. By watching him, I mastered spins, which he can do like nobodys business. Recently though, he seems to have adopted a more minimalistic style. Ver' nice....
Heather(Majestic)- One of the few dancers I enjoy who usually sports glowsticks! This girlie seems to get by this annoying habit with her wikkid moves! She has been partying one month less than I have and shes already mastered the step!!!!! It took me 10 months to LEARN the step and I'm still working on getting it down pat! I am so jealous!!! Go, Heather go Heather go go go...
Sandy(*Alone*)- dance dance dance....touch hat....boogy woogy...hahaha basically thats Sandys routine. I love it cause no one else does it (or for that matter could do it). Keep comin' creative!
Heather(tha HeCtiC one)- When this girlie dances to hardcore its nuts! SHe goes so fast, its unbelievable to see! Her booty stylez are also amusing. Two words: Tinrib Dance!!! hahahaha
Cyr- Personally this guy is number two, second only to Shawn. His style is a wikkid mix of the step and quik legs. No one else that I've seen can mix the two so seamlessly...it's fun to watch...
Tom(TomEboy)- Tom is a freakin' wikkid dancer. His spins are so tight(no one else does what I call the 'car wash spins' hahaha)!
Any Likwit dancers- Yoiks is alL I can say! I mean I experiment with likwit stylez but I am not even close to the 'real' likwit dancers. I think everyone eventually just evolves to this state after being in the scene for so long. I can't wait for my transformation (that is if I ever get there =).
T-Bitt- All I'm gonna say is nice moves Timm. No one has a style like Timms...
Some chick who I don't know- This chick has a shaved head and usually sports a red bandanna done up like a sweat band. She has this wikkid minimalistic, kinda likwitty style.
Pete(tha Supah one)- Mad cat sytlez! Pete always comes creative, keep it fresh Pete =)
Paul(Lil Freek-and any 'ardcore lovers out there)- Paul dances so hard to hardcore music that he usually pukes half way through the set! Doesn't stop him though! Usually comes back 5 minutes later hard as ever! Gotta respect that!
Kai & Craig (Jorah Kai & Deacon BoombastardizAH)- Not only are these two mammajammas INSANE on the decks, they rip it up on the dancefloor as well! Just watch during the next breaks set and see Craig go! You have to look carefully though 'cause most DJs are too cool to dance don't cha know =P.
Stimey, Jasmina,TrevAH and geRAD(my orignial rave kru)- Hahaha you like that guys? Stimey is a frickin' wikkid dancer. Mad boxin' styles, yo! =P
Jasmina, one of the other glowstick dancers I enjoy. Again, a total look of self confidence washes over her face. THe confidence that she has in turn is given to the people around her...I love dancing with her! Hope you're having a good time in Holland!
Trevor loves to dance! YOu can totally see how HAPPY he is whenever he dances. Go Trevor go Trevor go go go Trevor...
GeRaD, frickin' wIkkId moves! He'll just be dancin' along, same as everyone else and then shAbam!! He hits you with this incredible move that you've never seen before!!!!
ok that was a bit long, sorry 'bout that but I love my dancin'.....Oh just so you know the names in the brackets are our XVI names...(just so you don't think we all belong to a cult or something...although maybe XVI does count as one...Techno XVI). The only exceptions are Jorah Kai and Deacon Boombastardizer 'cause those are their DJ names.
