Duties: telephone queries; student data entry and retrieval; enrolments; operating student
ID Card camera; filing; troubleshooting (emergencies, lost forms etc.
etc.); information mail-outs; filing; contributing to creation of procedures manual,

Environment Centre, UK. This unpaid position, held during my degree course, was
ongoing and permanent. My duties were - answering queries from the public on the
nature and services of the centre; sending out information packs; and coordinating the
lending library and fund-raising events.
- Mar-Sept 91 & July-Sept 92: Road Manager and merchandise salesperson for Latin
American folk group touring UK. Duties - making bookings with promoters and
venues; arranging tour schedule; promoting in local area; transporting and selling
merchandise; driving minibus.
- Oct 90 - Feb 91: Voluntary Information Officer for the British Trust for
Conservation Volunteers, Southampton, UK. Duties - dealing with questions from the
public; designing information packs; liaison with local media.

Periods not covered
