First decision was to endeavor into the realm of black/white photography.
I desired results I can publish on the web and pictures to show my
grandchildren on my surprise 60th birthday party. Portaits seemed the way
to go.
At first thought, I planned to shoot only outdoors, hence the 25 speed film. Mom had planned a professional photographer for a morning shoot. I planned to shoot after him. Not a good plan - too hot. My subjects immediately went inside and stripped of the nice clothes once the professional was done. OK, go to plan B. Unfortunately I had no plan B. I did get a few photos of Mom and Dad inside and one of Tana with Samantha.

Afterwards I took pictures whenever I could. A very willing subject was my Grandmother. She is 88 years old and loved having the great-grandchildren around. She reminded me that when I was a child I used to run to Gramma, hug her leg, and then follow her around all the time.

Samantha and her cousin, Kathryn, followed me out onto the back deck for a photo shoot. Kathryn took the picture of Samantha and I. Samantha even took a few shots.

OK, now for a few fun shots.
