Alexys-My Princess

This page is dedicated to my beautiful niece...Alexys. It is still under construction so come back soon.

So far all I have to put here is that Alex is now a five year old little angel with just a bit of demon hidden ready to poke out just when you don't expect it. She is also very precious to me.

I'm going to use this space to try and explain how much this little "munster" means to me. When I was growing up I could never picture myself with the patience or skill to have a child. Well, when I was thirteen my brother told us the good news...he was going to be a daddy. Exactly twenty days after my fourteenth birthday Alexys blessed the earth with her birth. She looked...well like a lizard...nah, I'm just kidding...she looked like any newborn. Except for her eyes. Even on the day she was born their was a spark of interest in things around her, an intelligence that, to me, is uncommon in children. Well, when my princess was four years old I undertook an impossible challenge...I was going to baby sit her for the summer!!! I learned something that summer...she can yell a heck of a lot louder than me....no no no...just joking! She taught me that I had the patience to handle a toddler, go to work and still have fun together. For this and the love she has shown me I am forever in her debt. She is the earth and air to me and I love her dearly.

"So, my princess, if you ever think that I don't love you as much as I did just because auntie is far away, know that I do love you more and more every day. I think about you every day and I feel better to know that you are the one invading my room :-) I miss you, munchkin. And I love you very much."
