Fab'Rini Federation Main Map

The Fab'Rini Federation is a unity of 14 stars, only half of which sustain life-bearing planets. In the days of the Chilkit Coalition, under the reign of the High Clerists, the Chilkit burst forth from their home system, the Chilken System and discovered the systems of Kora, Kriost, and Kostalarian. There they were met with a small union of species who had already crossed over into the space-faring age. These three systems and the Chilken system joined together in a mutual alliance. However, the resulting free-flow of information left both cultures in severe cultural shock, which took several hundred years to set right. The four systems together are known collectively on maps as the Four Brothers.

More recently, three life-supporting systems were discovered on the far side of the Federation by Chilkit pilots more than two millenia ago. While these supported life-bearing planets, no indegenous intelligent species were found. They were all immediately colonized. These three systems today are ironically known as the Three Sisters. Today, the vast distances between these two stellar groups still hamper Federal efforts to tie them closely together. With the onslaught of faster information exchange, these systems are an integral part of the Federation. However, it is rumored that there are political parties and rebel forces in hiding who would love to see the Three Sisters form their own Omnet-recognized Minor Empire in the Greater Galaxy. The Three Sisters include the systems of Lysia, Lyshan, and Lyrem.

The stars Champster and Yusert recently went Nova. For reasons as yet unknown, a quantum wave front formed a little "bubble" within the Fab'Rini Q-Zone. The wave overcame Lysia. No contact from anybody trapped in these systems was heard for weeks. Then an anti-Omnet fanatical isolationist empire emerged within the zone. Killing all outsiders and people it considered "extreme," the Union of True Sentients verbally provoked the Greater Galaxy. All attempts by Fab'Rini ships and probes to penetrate the Q-Wall and make contact on the other side have been failures, never heard from again.
