What is the current status of things in Transmasters you may ask? Well, most fans would say that the status of most longtime Transformers clubs or endeavors like ours is questionable. The real point is we are still here and we still exist. As most of you can attest to, fans of the original series are now of the age (college and after college life) to be quite busy with life-establishing events and I seem to be of no exception to this grouping. I have spent the last 3 years more or less missing in action. Fans that have become a bit antsy for activity or development can keep their optics peeled because with help I intend on making it happen. I want to give an overwhelming thank you to Earlwin Famor who has kept the smelting pit fires simmering all this time with the web site and his tireless devotion. If indeed my old newsletter Auto-Update (which of course I canceled back in July of 1999) kept the club going all those years from the pits of obscurity he has in turn done the same with the web site. I will be working with Earlwin to do some refitting and revitalization.  What can YOU the fans do? Easy, stay involved! If you do post ideas and messages and contribute to the fandom in the form of media, stories, web sites etc. please continue to do so. If you don’t, now is a great time to start. Do you produce a fan-made media? If so, whether it is web-based or hardcopy (paper and toner ink) then PLEASE contact us and give us the info! We can’t be a good fan club without you the fans! We can’t keep all of you informed of what is going on without support from you! In fact one of the things I want to do is to revamp the media list to show what productions are still in print and what ones aren’t.  I would also like to incorporate all the web sites which are consistently and frequently updated, online zines you might call them and will certainly need all the help I can get in that area. If you see something you think needs updated or added now is your best time to let us know.
