Everyone seems to think that Final Fantasy VIII is gonna suck @$$, but from what I've seen I think it will be pretty good. SquareSoft makes too much money and too much is expected in this game for them to make any poor decisions gamewise.

I think FF8 will be wortless as FF7, now the people only like the 3D and they dont care about the story in the game.Remember the characters in FF6 and the Espers.Square should create a new FF that combine all the FinalFantasy, Final Fantasy Tactics is goo for this, they put back the wizard from previous Final Fantasy and Square finally realize what the people really want in their games. They want to personalize the character, boost them as they like, choose the name, choose the job, and what about somethi g to change character appareance....ITS WHAT EVERYONE WANT IN FINAL FANTASY, I wish FF8 will be like this.
