Gwen op Owen

Meet Gwen, the former "ugly duckling" of the Manchester clan, who
married the sexiest Ambassador around and settled down happily to be a
wife and mother, as well as juggling duties as a morale officer on her
husband's ship.  How did this saga begin? How does it end.....?

Gwen was one of the Manchester "genetic experiments," the results
causing her to have extremely strong telepathic powers-- so strong that
when she first used them, it was almost painful to those she communicated
with. She is especially close to her brother Tavell, who was imprisoned with
her by the Shadow Alliance when he was with the Dark Legion (TDL).

After their escape, Gwen was befriended by Dai op Owen, the
Aurigan ambassador, who helped her discover two surprising facts about
herself-- one, that she was 15 (not 12); and two, that she had a twin, Raine
Plaskon.  Friendship grew into more... he took her to Iota Aurigae and she
learned how to drive him wild with her mind, just like the local girls. Soon
Gwen was pregnant. Soon after that, they were married.

An unusual situation occured during Gwen's pregnancy-- the child
basically feeding from her mental and emotional state, leaving her nearly
comatose from lack of energy. Dai began supplimenting her, to allow her
to function. An effect of this suppliment became obvious after baby
Aurora's birth-- she quickly growing and maturing into a seventeen year
old. Gwen felt cheated... expecting to watch her daughter grow and
mature, instead watching a girl older than herself continue on with a life
        she would never know.

Gwen sought comfort with her husband. He taught her how to ride
dragons, she soon "impressing" a bronze named Faranth. He has also
begun to teach her to teleport, by focusing her mental powers through a
gestalt. Unfortunately, a mistake in judging distances caused an
augmentation in her personal appearance, which arguably satisfied many
        secret wishes of Dai's.

She currently serves aboard the IAS Cerberus as morale officer.
