Name: Tera Jane Ogilvie-Lyons Current Association: One of " the Pawns " Current Assignment: Alpha Base The Noire Age: 24 Ethnicity: Human Education: Privately educated (boarding school). Completed three years at Harvard Medical School before dropping out to pursue other interests. Family: Illegitimate daughter of Kaline Ogilvie, father unknown. Raised by legal guardian Maureen Ogilvie (aunt) after mother's death (when Tera was thirteen). Tera treasures the memory of her mother dearly, and often feels as though she is there, watching and guiding her in times of need. Recent Character History: Tera became a Pawn in early December, earning the reputation of being an excellent medical tech quickly. Her icy personality and sharp tongue earning her the nickname "the ice cube." Because of the Pawns' philosophy of inclusion, she was tolerated.  For quite some time, all efforts to befriend her were met with tart comments and outright b!tchiness. Several experiences changed Tera. First was facing imminent death with another Pawn, Dare Lyons, when a Cardassian ship chased them. Secondly was falling in love with this mysterious young man. Gradually, she learned to trust the other Pawns, and her hard facade melted away. She learned just how much Dare cared for her when recieving a dangerous assignment, attempted to force her to stay behind on Alpha Base. She resolved not to be abandoned again... and threatened, "if you leave me there... I leave you." Dare called her bluff, and she bade him farewell. Moments later, she heard a gunshot from his quarters, and rushed in to investigate, finding him shot through the hand by accident. She treated him.. and as she rose to leave, inwardly begging him to ask her to stay, he slipped his mother's wedding ring into her hand, telling her to keep it.. and bidding her goodbye. She retreated to her quarters, vowing never to trust anyone, or allow her heart to be touched by anyone again... She later discovered a pink rose and a notePADD outside her door, wishing her well... reminding her of Dare's love for her... and informing her that had she chosen to stay, he would have asked her to marry him. Crying, she ran to him...  answering his two questions with a single word. "Will you stay?"     ...Yes *kneeling* "Will you marry me?"  ...Yes.
Sadly, Dare and Tera were to have only a few short weeks of wedded bliss, for which they were separated only by the great distance of space. Dare was killed in an attack on the Noire.    rest in peace, Craig. (ooc)
