This was taken by the southeastern short of Aruba. Venezuala is just out of sight over the horizon.
This depicts what much of the interior of the island is like. Unlike the pampered resort portion, the island is largely desert, cactus, and other fauna and flora which can survive in such an environment. As you can see, these grow quite large.
This just shows the beach when it's getting dark. Too dark to try to take such a photo.
This is the northwestern part of Aruba, at a resort golf course. Taken in the early evening.
Another photo taken near this golf resort. We had dinner there our last night, with a couple we had met during the week.
Another photo of the desert environment common to these islands. Bonaire also has huge areas of desert and cactus. Lizards are abundant.
This is just part of our resort, "La Cabana", in the evening.
Surf crashing against the beautiful beach, looking north. Note the different colors of the water and sand.
This is one photo from Aruba I might blow up and frame. This doesn't capture how beautiful this looks as a print.
The colors in this photograph make it interesting, though it's another one which would be much better without me in it.
This is the lobby of La Cabana, and Debbie.
