What's your favorite movie swordfight? And other good ones?

My favorite of all time is the final scene in "Scaramouche", in which Andre Marow (Stewart Granger) fights the Marquis De Main (Mel Ferrar). This is one of my favorite movies. Also the swordfights in both "Prisoner of Zenda" movies. And the big one in Zorro. Basil Rathbone was the best actual swordfighter in Hollywood.

For heavier weapons, the fight, axe against mace and chain, between Ivanhoe (Robert Taylor) and Brian de Bois Gilbert (George Sanders) is spectacular.

Also Spartacus has great ones; and the fighting in "The Vikings" is great.

I regard JC's weapon as more the Roman sword, but longer, as I perceive Barsoomian weapon craftsmanship to be able to create a longer weapon but still light enough to duel with. I don't remember if this is explained in the books, but this is how I perceived the swords, rather than as those used in fencing, or heavy weapons such as broadswords. I picture them fighting with these longer "roman swords" with movements akin to the short Roman, or light French, weapons. The swords in the Gor series I regarded as shorter, akin to the Roman weapons.

Not surprisingly, I have two swords myself. I find that when I swing one for about twenty seconds like I'm fighting, my forearms are pretty much exhausted. These guys on Barsoom must have forearms like Popeye.
