I did have a broken leg when I started writing this, twenty-one years ago. I finished it for the most part in a few years, but never did finally edit it till it was typed into a computer several years ago. I did improve
in my writing skills as I progressed with this novel. Now that I can "publish" it on the
net, I might take the time to rewrite some of it. I'm pretty happy with most of it, though,
once it gets going.
Chapter two is much better, and you aren't interested in the book by the end of the fourth
chapter, you will probably not enjoy it.
I'm having a bit of a problem creating links at the end of every chapter to the next one,
with some of the chapters. You can reach any of them from this page.
This book is dedicated to the real-life "princesses" who have given me so much pleasure and laughter in my life.
Author's Note: The first twenty pages or so of "Tarak of Aantor"
can be a bit tedious. Creating a world is not an easy task when one is writing in the
third-person, and without injecting oneself into the story. Keep that in mind if you
decide to make the acquaintance of the tawny-haired barbarian.
I hope you enjoy Tarak's story. I enjoyed writing it, and still enjoy writing about him; and being him as my own persona on the savage net lists.
