THBlist!

I created a list for general discussion. Being a member of two ERB listservers, and one for Terry Brooks, I've found that I enjoy discussion about various topics with others who are members of these lists. Sometimes it appears that several persons would like to discuss other topics at various times, unrelated to Edgar Rice Burroughs or any other specific author or topic, and it might be beneficial to have a place to discuss these matters, so as not to bother those who would understandably prefer to talk about that specific topic for which the lists were created.

This will be an experiment to see if an "unlimited" list has any potential. Whether for new ideas and posts, and/or a "pour-over" place to carry on off-topic discussions started on another list but inappropriately off-topic for extended discussion on that list, this list may serve some purpose, other than giving me a place for my own off-topic nonsense.

Although it is unlimited, I don't anticipate many posts on things like sewing and beauty/fashion tips and stuff like that. This is Adventure, after all. Don't feel constrained if you want to talk about non-adventurous things, though. There are no limits, really.

Although there aren't really any rules, assume that your audience is composed of all races, sexes, ages, and nationalities, and be courteous, as you would expect others to be. Ideas need no restraint, but language sometimes does; and although ideas should always be subject to attack, people expressing them should not. Bear that in mind if you join this list.
