Suvalhist

Suval was actually the first character to appear on any Pern MU* and my first on DF in the winter of '99, however due to RL circumstances this Harper was deleted due to idleness. In October of 1999, I created Phredrik, including Suval as a part of his story, playing a cousin he grew up with. Thanks to Charlton (OOC here) Suval narrowly escaped death and returned once more to the world of DF. But all was not well as I got an idea, and ideas can be dangerous things. No sooner did Suval get back than he began getting bad headaches and blurry vision, soon his vision was gone and he was on a Healer's medication for the headaches. Except for a very brief stint with a natural drug that relieved the pressure that had cut off his optic nerves, he has been blind ever since, and now I can't say I'd have it any other way.

Description:

Standing at a little over five and half feet, Suval is not much in the way of height. He has long very dark blonde hair bordering on brown which is tied in a short ponytail which barely touches his neck. He sees the world through striking emerald eyes, but they seem to stare almost blankly into space. His lips are curled into what looks to be a permanent smile embedded in his face. He is a skinny fellow, giving him a lanky appearance and despite his short height, arms and legs just a bit too long for the rest of him. He speaks in a warm baritone voice.

Adeyn
Oh no...he's getting to be at that age...a...a...toddler!!! The light furring on his hand has turned into short locks of light auburn hair and those clear hazel eyes are more inquisitive. He's reaching and grabbing and making every attempt to make as much of a mess as possible.
Adeyn is 11 months and 27 days old.

Velura
It's begun the toddling stage. She's gotten to be a talker just like her mother even if you can't understand most of what she says...Her strawberry-blonde locks have lightened and it's not so clear if she's more like her mother or father...yet.

Gepard

A woman no longer as young as she was stands before you now. The turns of work outdoors have given her face and arms an all turn tan. That same face is also beginning to show a few lines. Soft smile lines have begun to braket her mouth, and crows feet to form at the corners of her eyes, eyes that still hold a bright spark in their hazel depths so often hid behind glasses. A few stubborn strands of early gray have planted themselves at her temples, and have begun to weave themselves into her mass of auburn hair. Her voice has developed a deeper note from having to yell at Rowan and now all the clan scouts once in a while. Her figure has lost some of it's slimness after bearing three children, but slowly built muscles define arms and legs.
She wears a simple silver pendant on her neck and around her bag is hooked her clan kerchief. The symbol of the Enlander Clan: black mountains highlighted in gold against a red sky, with a bright golden sun in the high noon position, is in sharp relief against it. The edge of the kerchiefs have different colors though. Black and red signifying her role as TaskMaster to the clan. Gold stars surround the sun, indicating the years of service in the Clan, in her case 13.
Well the purple look of her youth has faded and a deep red tunic and dark brown slacks are worn to finally match her clan kerchief. It's her try at looking distinguished as TaskMaster. Soft leather boots are the same though, a light brown color to encase her leg to the knee. Shadoe regards you, perched atop Gepard's shoulder. Purple regards you, perched atop Gepard's head.

Walking stick
Perched upon the top of this walking stick is a stylized image of a fire lizard, neck arched, chin touching chest, staring somberly forward. The images tail seems to spiral tightly about the top of the stick, forming a handy grip at just the right height. Below this bamds of knotwork made up of entwined fire lizards encircle the stick, framing the words Gepard, Suval and a picturesque section featuring mountains surmounted by a rising sun. (Must belong to a member of the Enlander clan.)

Suval wears a fine new suit of clothes. Starting with a pair of new boots. They are of a black hide, polished to a bright shine. They extend up to his knees where his pants have been tucked into the tops of each boot. His pants are of a fine, sturdy cloth and are charcoal in color. A belt to match his boots holds the pants in place. He wears a white shirt over his torso, tucked neatly into his pants. The forearms of the shirt poof out until a metal band just above his elbow. The arms end in a cuff just at his wrist. A Navy vest is worn atop the shirt, adorned with a silver lining and buttons, which are left undone, leaving the vest open. Around his neck is a dragon's head pendant which once belonged to his father and his father before him, passed down from father to son at fasting. A band of black covers his sightless eyes.
