The Biography of S.

Born in the Spring '81 as Steven Michael Gibson in Balitmore, Maryland, S. is currently studying Music Education at the Conservatory at Shenandoah University.  He is currently the school's only Euphonium major and has learned to deal with people's ignorance of what a Euphonium actually is.  Some may know it as the Baritone Horn, but he best describes it as a baby tuba.  He got into writing poetry in High School when in his Freshman year he had his poem "The Guide" published in the school's literary magazine, Expressions.  Then in his senior year, a second poem was published in the same magazine.  In high school he participated in Marching Band, Concert Band, Choir, Vocal Ensemble, attended Elizabethtown Honors Choir three years in a row, Cross Country, Track, Yearbook, Literary magazine, SADD, AFS until its unfortunate demise, and various other

campus clubs.  In college he is a member of the Wind Ensemble and Concert Winds and ran Cross Country for less than half a season.  He continues to write, most often off the top of his head sometimes producing something he thinks is very good, other times either hitting the delete button or tearing up the paper.  He is also in the process of writing a novel and it's psuedo-sequel with hopes of getting them published and making it big off the movie rights.  If that doesn't work out then he'll do high school band somewhere or become a missionary or serve the church in some other capacity.  Faith is first in his life followed by the many women who have stolen (and many times broken) his heart.  A close third would be music.  For more information consult your local library, although you may get better results using e-mail or Instant Messanger or even (occasionally) ICQ.
