Hey Peoples~!!
So, it's been like MONTHS since I've updated this saga. So, for your patient taste buds, I offer this rather long preview of the next chapter. This is the very beginning, has undergone SEVERAL long revisions, and shall undergo a few more as I keep writing. BUT, it is something.
Will this do, Serenity and Mercury589? Thanks for putting up with me!
HEY ROVIN! (you better read ALL of this! Thanks for reading this! Has Jessica?)

0}--+----- Tokyo, June 6, Darien's appartment
Darien had pushed his self to his limit. After setting all the world's affairs in order, which had taken the majority of his super-powered strength, he and the scouts were preparing to leave for Crystal Tokyo. Now stood one of the hardest times of his life. The time when everyone would leave him with nothing to do.
And he would be forced to listen to his heart. The solo beat of his heart.
He put his head in his hands as he sat on the edge of his bed. How could this have happened? He had listened to the dreams. He had KILLED his and her souls just to keep her safe. And look what had happened.
<It had just been a stupid dream>. And he had been foolish enough to place it over his heart and soul.
<Usa, where are you?>
A silent, lone tear formed in his eye.
<How could you leave me? Why couldn't I feel you in trouble?>
The small tear fell down his handsome face, then fell to the bed, followed by another, and then another, until he was weeping in misery.
Only the soft sound of tears matching the slow beat of his heart sounded in the room.
She was the only one to ever see him cry. The only one he had shown weakness to that he could remember. The only one who could truly comfort him.
<My little bunny, I only want you now. Why don't you answer?>
The only response to the rare occurence of Darien releasing tears was the clock chiming the hour.

0}--+----- Raye's Temple, twenty minutes later
Reni sat cross-legged in the back of the temple, where the scouts had usually sat during the warm seasons for meetings. Ever since they had gone to the future, she and the scouts had come here with the others to talk about anything and everything. It had become a comfortable routine. Raye would be towards the edge of the small grove of trees, usually sweeping in her temple robes. Amy would usually be sitting on a large rock by the pond, reading a book or tapping on her mini-computer. Lita would be leaning against the post of the wooden posts, happily talking with Mina, who would be sitting on the porch swinging her legs and carrying a bright smile.
And Serena, the girl Reni never EVER showed affection for, would be running into the temple, plopping down on the ground with a mound of comics or food, and be talking to everyone and no one. Her boundless energy and laughs would draw Amy from her studies or research like the tide, with Amy able to do nothing but smile at her best friend as she would come from the rock to the ground next to Serena. It would cause a faraway look to come to Raye's face when the other's weren't looking (except for Reni, who noticed everything) and a soft smile, and would bring a spark to the priestess' eyes as she kneeled before her closest sister, throwing in a few snide, but empty comments about the girl. It would cause Lita to jump down from her post and move right into the circle, silently smiling with happiness at her fellow soldier's pleasure. And it would cause Mina to gather the cats, lay down on the grass with her feet still kicking in the air, and dig into Serena about her latest date with Darien or listen to all the latest gossip Serena had been privied to at her school.
Now Amy sat at that pond, though not in research or in books. She just sat, looking out into the waters, mini-computer in hand, silently watching the small ripples created by an light wind, her intelligent blue eyes now empty, as if it was just a shell of Amy.
The spark was no longer in Raye's violet-black eyes or faraway smile, but rather in the fire that danced in front of her, holding nothing and revealing nothing. It was as if the fire of the her soul had been carried to the physical world and left her to burn out like a candle in a hurricane of emotions. The fire, no longer inside, was now a stranger on the outside. So she just sat there, not moving, just staring at the last of her life.
Lita had moved, but only to the training room when the wooden support she always leaned on began to bend under her punches. She fought an invisible enemy, using every ounce of strength she had left, until she finally collapsed in a fatigue she had never known before. She stared out the window, into the trees, her emerald orbs of her eyes no longer controlling the familiar raging storm, but rather a pain, as if it hurt to go on and try.
But the worst was shown in Mina. She was completely still. But not like Amy or Raye, or now Lita. The others, she had seen still and silent before. Yet in all her memories of Mina, she had never remembered a still and silent Mina. Mina had left the cats to sit on the steps of the temple, waiting for Darien to arrive. Reni had tried to talk to Mina, but Mina had just shook her head slightly, a silent message that now was not the time. The girl just sat there staring at the ground, her whole body stiff and quiet as a captured warrior waiting to be punished by enemies.
The Outers and Darien had left without saying a word. Sophea's face could not be seen. Mira kept her head down, her hands gripped together. Her eyes brimmed with tears and as each slid down, she would immediately brush it away- it was the first time Reni had ever seen Neptune not able to control any type of water.
Alex didn't say a word. The only sign of life in her was to stare Darien in the eyes for a minute before he had left to ready himself in his apartment, and also to put a hand on Mina's shoulder and give Lita a look similar to the one she gave Darien. Reni couldn't figure out what Alex meant by that look; it wasn't just a cold glance or intimidating stare she had used before, yet her eyes were so blank and unreadable Reni couldn't be sure of anything.
And Ana only looked at her, with her dark black coals for eyes. She had always thought herself to be almost-sisters with Ana, and yet the haunting look in Ana's eyes... she had never seen Ana look so...
Her best friend frightened her the most.
And Darien wasn't here to help her. He had left, almost in a daze. She didn't blame him. Yet, as much as she understood and wanted to be alone to cry, she also wanted his comfort. Ever since she had been told about Serena's... leaving, Reni felt as though she were in a dream.
Or a nightmare.
She pulled her legs tighter to her chest as she softly weeped. Serena was the major pain of the group. She never showed Reni the extra effort the other girls showed her. She treated her like one of her friends, and when they were alone she acted like her mommy sometimes did, but other than that, Reni had seen Serena treat other kids her age better than her. And Reni had immediately put her defenses up. She had manipulated the others slightly in the past to get to the elder brat, but that was in the past. Since then, Serena had become a big sister to her, made sure she was safe, kept her on her toes, and helped take the pain away.
The pain of being alone, in the past.
Reni looked around. Her silent tears rolled down her face. She wanted her mother. Her father. The future Sailors, her friends, Puu, Helios, SOME ONE...
And her tears became a full blown rage brought by pain and loneliness. There was no Serena, there was no one to help, there was no one to keep everything together or keep her safe! Her cries became louder and louder as she became aware of the pain, the ache in her heart.
How she had yelled at her. How she had gotten her into trouble with her parents. With the Sailor Scouts. With the bad guys.
And with Darien. When the Doom Phantom had come, and how she had always secretly wished Serena wasn't around so Darien could be hers.
She had gotten her wish. Her mommy had always told her to watch what you wish for. Oh, how she wished she was like her mommy. Then she would be careful.
Her cries seemed to grow as a crescent moon symbol glowed gold on her forehead, flashing with an intensity to match the little girl's cries and fears.
The ground shaked with its little mistress' cry, answering to the shining moon beam erupting in a purple, magenta, and gold haze.
"Reni?" came a shout from the doorway. Although her cries were far louder, the voice seemed to peirce through the air and energy, quieting the screams to yelps and finally broken gasps of tears. Reni's eyes opened wide as slender arms encircled her and sweaty hair brushed against her face.
The redhead finally pulled back slightly and let go of Reni's side. Smaller, yet slightly muscular arms closed the gap.
And with broken sobs, Reni cried with Sammy and Lizzie. No words were exchanged as each understood the loss of some one so precious.
After a few minutes, there was a quiet knock on the door. Alex stood in the doorway.
"We have to go. Reni, you are to stay with them until we come back or call for you-"
"I want to go!"
The pink haired head with tear-streaked cheeks was lifted above the other two to stare fiercely at the warrior of wind. The two held their gazes at one another, Alex's green eyes probing her red ones to find a spark of determination on the brink of becoming a prariefire.
"I am Sailor Moonchild, it is my right. I want to... I want to be there for her."
"Reni, you are to stay here. It would do you no good to come with us. We want you to stay with the other families and help them out."
"Why can't she come?" Sammy called out. Alex looked to find the other two staring at her. "Serena would have wanted her to. Reni can handle it."
Lizzie nodded and gave a small smile through shimmery tears. "We can handle ourselves. Don't worry about us. You've got bigger problems."
After a brief moment, Alex nodded her head slightly and walked out. Reni gave a sniff as she hugged her friends one last time, letting loose the last of her tears.
A slight breeze had stirred up. Alex looked over to the small courtyard and saw the others gathering in a circle. Darien, who had finally arrived, nodded to Alex as he made his way over to the others. The rest of the families watched silently, unsure of what to do. The rest of the Sailors had called their families, revealing everything. Things were looking bad for them anyway. Alex guessed everyone on Earth would know their identities some time over the next couple days.
The breeze became a larger gust of wind, picking Alex's head up proudly. Ever since Alex had first met Serena, she had put Serena in front of her heart. Now was time to prove her love to her princess.
Reni appeared beside Alex. Taking hands, they walked to the circle with Sammy and Lizzie behind them, walking to their families.
Ann and Alan sat with Fiore in their alien garb by the tree, which floated between the circle and the temple. The tree would be transporting them, so the Sailor Scouts wouldn't have to use up so much energy teleporting them all. Darien was declared the unofficial leader of the group, with the Inners, Outers, and Starlights around him.
He pulled out a rose, silently commanding his powers to come.
Each planet name became a ring of voices around him.
"MERCURY", "MARS", "JUPITER", "VENUS", "URANUS", "NEPTUNE", "SATURN", "PLUTO", "MOONCHILD", "STAR FIGHTER", "STAR MAKER", "STAR HEALER".
"ETERNAL POWER!"
Energy swirled around them, washing the thirteen civilians away and bringing out thirteen warriors.
And as Chad watched, they clutched hands and called out, "SAILOR TELEPORT". He was glad his dark brown bangs covered his brown eyes, as they widened with shock. Memories filtered through his thoughts.
Laughter. Birds. Purple. Stars. Blue. Fire. Red. Happiness. Emptiness.
He remembered. How could he forget?
Everyone was either crying, comforting, or still watching the place the warriors had occupied. Chad suddenly wanted to run to the circle and try to teleport his self with them. To help them.
He had to find the others. Then, they could find out what to do. Noticing Grandpa sneaking over to the fire room, he decided he wasn't needed there any longer. His purpose to stay was over. Silently, he turned and left.
He had a fairly good idea where to find the another. On a shopping trip, he had met up with Lita and had talked with her a fair amount of time. Based on her description, it had to be him.
Now, all he had to do was find the guy. <Easy enough.> And with that, Chad used his powers of spirit to search for the aura he desired.
Questions, comments, and input are always beautiful! And williningly accepted!
Also- does anyone have ideas? I think I need a little help!!
