Mulder seeks the truth unknown, For when darkness falls, he searches the skies, Searching for proof, In hope of revealing the lies.
Though he may be eccentric, His partner Scully reamains by his side. Accross mountains, valleys, desersts, and seas they go, Together they search for the truth to find.
His passion for his work, Brought him shame and fears; He's an annoyance to his superiors, A joke to his peers.
Spooky is what they called him, Whose sister was abducted by aliens when he was small, Now he chases little green men with a badge and a gun shouting out to the heavens, Or anyone who will listen, "The sky is going to fall!"
Conspiracies and government plots, For extraterrestrial life to conceal, Makes you wonder, "What is fake, and what is real?"
Are those tapes of alien crafts hoaxes and fakes? But if they're real, do they wonder who's down there, or do they care? Still everynight Mulder faces the sky, And reassures himself, "The Truth is Out There."
A white light you see in the sky makes you ask, Is it really an alien who will land on earth one day? Is it government testing or do you think it's alien craft? "I Want To Believe," Mulder would say. |
