a thought on luck

I do not in any way belive in luck. Why can't anyone think about this reasonably? If something bad happens to you, do you think that is because that black cat ran in front of you? Don't you think that if you didn't see the cat, it would have not happened to you? Or would it happen to you no matter what - even if the cat didn't run in front of you? Superstision is dumb. It is absolutely pointless to alter your life just because of some stupid things like that.
