THE Obelisk -- Luxor
Once part of a matching pair, we suppose.
All this is courtesy of Rameses II, otherwise known as Ozymandias.
In the background you can see the Pylon itself.
It's in bad repair, and you can barely make out anything of what
used to be on it.
The clearest things are figures in chariots
-- presumably Rameses II himself, though it might have been one
of his many children out for a spin after borrowing the reins
for the night.
