Another nice day out. I'm in my shorts, but I'm a little upset that I'm not wearing my sandals. I think I put them in storage.

I sat outside today to read an assignment for a class that I will probably drop or fail in the near future. The reason I would actually continue to do the course work in a class that I might not complete successfully is a somewhat long story that I'm not at liberty to discuss in this media at this time. Sorry, guys.

Back to the weather (which has really put me in a good mood!), I've also had the opportunity to drive my car with the windows rolled down and the music cranked up, definitely an enjoyable way to "waste" time. I believe we're supposed to have rain and colder tempuratures starting tomorrow, but in the ten-day forecast I looked at last night, there isn't any snow to be seen, and the longer that goes on, the smaller the possibility of actually seeing that God-forsaken stuff. I've definitely had enough of that crap this winter.

I'm looking forward to this summer when I can work a lot, sleep a little, and just enjoy my free time instead of worrying about the assignments I may or may not turn in. It's been so long since I've been able to to just sit, relax, kick a little computer butt on Madden, and forget about the world around me. But, alas, I've also got to worry about getting a place to live. This living-out-of-my-car/sleeping-in-my-parents'-basement-or-wherever-else-I-can-find thing just isn't working out as I'd hoped. I can only hope that soon the money I'm "saving" will start showing up.

Movie Mini-Review: Narc starring Ray Liotta and Jason Patric. Perhaps it's the fact that the last movie I saw before this one (The Hunted) left a bad taste in my mouth, or maybe it's something else, but I really liked this movie. It's one of the better movies I've seen in a long time, ranking right up there with another personal favorite of late, Road to Perdition. This is just a great cop chase movie, with enough twists thrown in (including the dramatic ending) to make it somehow different than everything else. Although the storytelling is more upfront, I'd say the cinematography and stylings of this movie compare with Tarentino's Pulp Fiction. Without a doubt, I will be looking for this movie on DVD and will enjoy watching it numerous times to show it off to the unsuspecting. (9/10)
