The Celestial Movement:
Heaven

The Celestial Movement perhaps the least understood portion of the Symphony, and Heaven is the least understood part of that Movement. It is vast beyond the comprehension of mortals, and lies beyond the reach of the Ethereal spirits. It is a place of joy beyond measure and glory beyond description.

The Heaven inhabited by the angels is not the Heaven that is the throne and court of God. That Heaven is known as the higher Heavens, and has only rarely been visited by any angel or Archangel. Only the souls of righteous mortals may climb Jacob's Ladder and gain access to the presence of God. Even the Archangels must await the pleasure of God, and may only enter His presence when He calls them.

The Heaven inhabited by the angels is the dwelling of the angels who have been charged with maintaining the Corporeal and Ethereal Movements, and with waging the War. It is impossible for any mortal language to describe fully, but it is no more than a pale shadow of the higher Heavens.
