Here we go. The SGC (well...Gate Room plus the infirmary) depicted in Legos. It's never been done before!! And hopefully will never be done again. I don't really know why I did this. Boredom, I guess. It's been forever since I had touched legos when I built this. Found them in the basement. Decided to do something a little wacky.
Forgive the quality of the pictures...no, you aren't astimagtic. Well, you might be, but don't try to determine this by looking at the pictures. Lets just say National Geographic photographer I am not.
A birds eye view (sort of) of the entire construction. There is the Gate and the ramp in the foreground, the Jack and Daniel (in the form of little lego people, of course) in the middle, and the
Chevron Guy sitting in his little spot there. You can't tell it really, but that is General Hammond at the Briefing Room at the top. This picture really got messed up when changing it to .gif (that's what happens when you try to conserve your server space). I really like the coloured rings around the structure. Especially since my carpet is all one colour that, incidentally, doesn't match any of the colours that you can see on the picture. I would just like to mention that that was taken in my old house, and my carpet is now white.
A shot just to make you dizzy. Just another point of view .
A shot of 'Jack' in one of the holding cells (okay, so the geography of the SGC is not REALLy acurate) and 'Daniel' lying on one of the infirmary beds.
Yet another view of the gate.
