* UNDER THE "WE GOTTA DO IT!!" project - ORCA has a chore before its membership and we need your help. We think its time for Marvel to pay Mark Gruenwald the one final tribute that he so richly deserves in his honorable memory - A reinstatement and retelling of the Marvel Universe Series. We want to see updates on characters, new costumes and a few 'secrets' uncovered by those people in the industry willing to honor Mark's memory and his contribution to Comics. ORCA requests that the artists taking on a character or team work for 3/4 the salary normally provided. That those respected indivuals donate their monies to two of the comic book entertainment industries most loyal support groups, Friends of Lulu and the Organized Readers of Comics Associated. As Mark so loved fandom. What better a way to honor him than by helping two groups intent on helping fandom to rediscover itself? I can think of no richer way to honor Mark Gruenwalds memory and dedication to our hobby, while helping financially two deserving groups of consumers giving of themselves freely.
