"A garden in the middle of a wasteland? An oasis hidden from the eyes of weary travelers!" many brave men have bypassed this place for fear of their lives from the inhabitants of this city that fanatically worship death. Tarn never hesitates too long. He reasons that, with all this vegetation, there must be water here somewhere. But more importantly where's the Baron's daughter, Klaire? In an instance a creaking sound occurs from behind him. "The gate! Damn me for a fool. I've stumbled into some Shurran trap like a naive pup!" Laughter is heard from above the wall. "And now I am beset by mocking laughter. Who the devil ... ?" A priest from above gloats at Tarn and says.
"Savage we don't care for your petty reasonss here. You are a tresspasser and tresspassers only find their deaths at Sorotorius. You have dispatched several of our guards and greatly humiliated our creed!"
"Wonderful, now open the damn gate! "The Oresetian grins at the priest.
"You savage shall meet our death god. He lurks in the garden!"
"Stinking devil, there must be a way out of here. I promise you devil, I'11 find that way and return to crush your skull!"
The priest mockingly grins and then vanishes. Not too soon in this garden that seems to have no end. The Oresetian senses something lurking in the garden. It seems this garden has creatures or devils about. Tarn misses the heavy tread of a great bulk that is upon him. The great man throws Tarn off balance and against a tree. As the man gets ready for the kill, Tarn deflects the blow with his sorcerous scimitar. Then draws a short knife hisses and crouches like a young lion ready for the kill.
The big man asks."Whom the hell are you? You don't look like a Klanite!"
"I'm Tarn from Oresetes and you ?"
"I'm Mekos of the house of Kabzan. Our land borders with this one. I've been following you since you killed the two guards in the main hall. I've been here several days in search of my daughter whom these blasted fanatics have abducted from my tribe. I've found this place to have a lot of secret passages that's how I managed to get in the garden before you."
"I'm also in a similar quest for a Baron's daughter from Parsifal. It seems this cult continues to spread in the world."
"Aye man! What you say then, we join up and find a way out of this accursed garden and rescue our women!?"
